At The Cellar Church, we aim to live out the Gospel message as the Bible directs us – that is to lead people to salvation through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and at the same time serve our community and those in need around us.

Our history
The Cellar Church was established in March 2014 in an old wine cellar. It has grown rapidly from 11 regular attendees and 1 child to upwards of 70 and nearly 20 children!
As a result of this growth, in August 2016, The Cellar Church relocated from the centre of town to the Ellesmere Business Park. After continued growth we once again needed a new venue and so here we are – back in the heart of Ellesmere – at the Town Hall.
We now have a fantastic venue more suited to our needs and one which allows us to consider our next steps as part of God’s plan.
As we meet together in an informal cafe-style setting to worship, pray and study the Bible, our desire is to continue to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people of Ellesmere and beyond.
